Today, one of my boy classmates added me on facebook. He's really attractive. I pressed decline anyway and sent a message to him explaining exactly why I didn't add him. Talk about woman power! MLIM.

Today, some Non-Muslim boy told me that he wanted to marry a Muslim girl who wears a scarf when he grows up. I prayed at that moment he wasn't talking about me :( MLIM

After an awards program for school in the evening, a couple of my American friends witnessed my parents talk to the doctoring parents of another desi kid in my grade. They snickered that the two couples were dicussing an arranged marriage between the other desi kid and I. The kid and his family are Hindu. MLIM.

Today my psychology professor asked about Islamic weddings. I told him they're separate according to gender. He then asked me about removing the hijab and I told him that it's fine as long as there were no men around. He pauses briefly and says "well how do you know that another girl wouldn't feel an attraction towards you?". My jaw dropped instantly. MLIM

Today, I was driving on the highway, going 80 in a 55. A car came zooming up to me in the next lane. I looked over to see who it was. It was a really pretty hijabi girl. I stared at her, and she stared at me. A pretty hijabi who likes driving fast? I couldn't resist! And apparently she couldn't either. We then both got shy because of our staring and went our separate ways on the highway. MLIM
