Today in my summer school health class they taught us about the reproductive system. I went home unable to stare my mother in the face, both apalled and disgusted to know that she had had sex. MLIM

today, a "friend" of mine made up a joke about my hijab and this sikh guy's turban-she called it a tijab! it made me so sad that she never thought how i would feel or even think about whether what she was saying was rude or not....but i still bravely endured it with the help of Allah. MLIM and i'm proud of it!

My dad always freaks out whenever i mention going over chem with a male classmate, or having to be paired up with a guy on a project, cuz he thinks im going to marry this dude. he seems to forget all the catcalling and girlfriends he went thru during college. MLIM

Today, during a bio lab, a muslim girl came up to me and lectured me on why I shouldn't listen to music during Ramadan. As she was lecturing me, her boyfriend walked into the lab and she gave her a hug. MLIM
