Everytime I try to study for my finals, I am inclined to do something Islaamic - Read ahadeeth, listen to lectures, pray my forgotten prayers etc. Sometimes I think that's why Allaah made these worldly studies hard for me, to understand the ease of gaining knowledge.

I am a teenage Muslim girl and i go outside to see many girls everyday dressed un-Islamically just because everyone else is. I go outside and people always compliment me on how good i look yet still dress modestly. Inshallah i plan on creating a fashion line in the future for Muslim girls/women so then can dress nicely yet modestly. May Allah help me and all those who strive to be good Muslims.

Today, I found this book in my school's lirary "Does My Head Look Big" and, on the cover there was a girl wearing a hijab. So, naturally I checked it out. Now let me tell you this girl in the book is so strong and strong-headed about wearing the hijab full-time that even I started to do just that. If you are worried about wearing the hijab full-time read this book. MLIM

During lunch I get up to go pray Dhuuhr, and my bestfriend always comes with me. Everyday throughout the week. She's not a muslim and yet, she still waits for me. :)

Today, I completed the Quran-again. And I cried. My sister asked me, "Why would you cry when you just completed the khatm?" If the whole world knew how it felt to have the Quran in one's heart, they would read nothing else until they had it memorized. I used to say: I want to die with my forehead on the ground, dhikr on my tongue, Allah on my mind, and Quran in my heart. Now I can do that. MLIM.
